A new offensive manager of Dallas Cowboys, the background of Klayton Adams is on the line, so it should come as no surprise that his philosophy is about overwhelming an opponent.
Adams said on Tuesday that his message to players was that they will play physically.
“The same thing I want from every player because of the offensive and that is to create violence in the game,” Adams said through the team’s official website. “Be aggressive, drive, paralyze, I think all the decisions we make clearly need to lean that direction. So if it’s a gray area, what is going to allow these guys to play more and run and be Violent? “
Adams, who is an offensive effort in Boise State, has spent most of his coaching career in guiding Hogs. The 41 -year -old player spent most of his career in college before leaving the advantages of the Indianapolis Colts in 2019 as an assistant to the striker. He then moved to Tight Ends coach in Indy for two seasons (2021-2022). He spent the past two years as Arizona Cardinals’ striker.
Brian Schottenheimer, a new Cowboys coach, ruled Adams as his offensive manager. And will not call a play but help to build the weekly game schedule.
“After all, our job is when we are putting things on the phone magazine to be problematic,” said Adams. “We are trying to understand what do we do good and what do we make it look many times? How do we make it look different? That’s the part I really look forward to focusing on.”
Part of Adam’s work must get a better game out of the offensive line. Questions about the future of Zack Martin in Dallas are in large quantities when he moves towards a free agency or possible retirement. So it is the back guard, who could start again with Rico Dowdy, who is also a free agent.
It is not so often as a offensive line coach will be raised in OC roles, but Adams will not fully go away from his roots.
“I certainly won’t be away from it,” Adams said of coaching the offensive line. “I think it’s a little bit exactly how all these things are going to work because of the language that is as we are now. “
“I want to have a great relationship with all these boys and I want to build genuine relationships so they know that I am here to help them very clearly and shared a standard for what we expect from them. “
