Kansas City Police Chief Justyn Ross was arrested Monday afternoon and charged with criminal damage over $25,000, according to a report from the Johnson County (Kansas) Sheriff’s Office.
Ross faces criminal charges and will appear in court on Tuesday.
He was arrested at 4:54 p.m. ET Monday, according to the report, and no bail has been set.
Ross, 23, was an undrafted free agent out of Clemson who signed with the Chiefs through the 2022 season but was placed on reserve with a foot injury. This season, Ross has played in each of the Chiefs’ seven games without a start and has three catches for 34 yards.
