Inter Miami CF Home grown midfielder Santiago Morales and Inter Miami CF II defender Tyler Hall have been called up by US COIN for the upcoming 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup. The 19th edition of the tournament will run from November 10 to December 1, 2023 in Indonesia.

Inter Miami is one of only three clubs with multiple players on the roster for the tournament.
The U-17 World Cup will feature 24 countries from six different national teams. The teams will be divided into six groups of four, with the top two teams in each group and the best four in third place advancing to the knockout stage.
The United States will compete in Group E at the tournament along with France, Burkina Faso and South Korea.

At club level, Morales made his professional debut with the club’s MLS NEXT Pro affiliate Inter Miami CF II in 2023 before being signed as a homegrown player for the first team; Morales became the seventh Academy product to sign with the first team last month and the second to sign this year. He played a total of 13 MLS NEXT Pro regular season games for Inter Miami II in 2023, including 10 starts, and recorded his first two goals and assists as a professional.
Morales has previously been called up several times by the U.S. U-16 and U-17 teams, most recently representing the U-17s at the 2023 training camp in Sorocaba, Brazil, where the team played two friendlies against Brazil in the final camp. before the 2023 U-17 World Cup.
Hall, meanwhile, has been consistently called up by the U.S. youth national teams, including featuring and captaining the U.S. U-17 MYNT at the 2023 Concacaf U-17 Championship in February where the team qualified for the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup. The 17-year-old defender also joined the U-17 team in Sorocaba, Brazil for the team’s final camp in preparation for the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
At the club, the defender made his professional debut with Inter Miami CF II during the 2022 MLS NEXT Pro regular season while on an Academy contract before signing with the second team in March this year. In 2023, Hall recorded 20 MLS NEXT Pro appearances in the regular season, 18 as a starter, and scored his first two goals as a professional.
