Grady Jarrett is ready for a new start with Chicago Bears.
After spending the first 10 NFL seasons with Atlanta Falcons, Jarrett shared how he is going from his old club to his new one.
“This is an exciting time,” said Jarrett on the team’s website. “I’m just ready for a new challenge. I feel like the work I’ve done in Atlanta never ends, but it served its purpose for my time with the falcons. The things and lessons I learned in my hometown, I want to bring it to Chicago and be just my best,
Jarrett, 31, was released by Atlanta on March 10 and a few hours later, three years, $ 43.5 million approved a contract with Chicago.
During his time in Atlanta, Jarrett was a steady defense player whom the Falcons were able to rely on over the years. Selected in the fifth round 2015 won two Pro Bowl games when he registered 126 QB hits, 77 tackles for losses and 36.5 sacks for Atlanta.
