The Detroit Lions are for real — at least one week into the 2023 NFL season, anyway.
Jared Goff and the upstart Lions were able to knock off the reigning Super Bowl-champion Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday night to kick off the season.
The Chiefs, playing without All-Pros Travis Kelce and Chris Jones, lost their season opener for the first time since 2014.
